More on sixties esthetics

More genrally speaking, I guess the whole youth culture (also in America) is part of a reaction to the second world war and at the same time a development in itself. Extreme beauty in the sixties seems to be the high point of a newly discovered sense of liberty in expression, being part of a movement, and new energy stemming from a post-class society vision. Yesterday I just wanted to accentuate the relation ultra dark - ultra bright at a basic existential level, which seems to be part of the developments of those years.
